Halloween 2019 at English House

Halloween 2019 at English House language school House

This year the students at the English House Language School celebrated Halloween with lots of treats and tricks!

Our youngest students played with different mythical creatures and together we created fluffy ghosts. We sang children’s Halloween songs and talked about the tradition around the “Trick or treat?” question.

Together with our primary children, we learned words, we competed, we sang and we played! The kids performed different “tricks” to earn their treats. The little monsters expressed their creativity by creating adorable spiderwebs and spiders.

The teens went on a Webquest for interesting information about Halloween and some of the more famous traditions around the holiday. Everyone was surprised to learn more about its origins and development over the years. Finally, they even had the chance to participate in a traditional game called “apple bobbing”.
